If I hear “but why Mommy” one more time today and I will go crazy! Everything out of the 2 year old mouth is this question. Over and over again…I can’t take it. It doesn’t matter how many explanations I give.
How do you deal with this? Help is appreciated. Thanks.

Today was my toddlers first day of preschool. I had second thoughts about enrolling my 2.5 year old in preschool this morning and questioning if I was doing the right thing. He seems ready. He loves to play with other children, sing songs, practice his letters and sounds. I worry he gets bored with me [...]

When our son was 10 months old we enrolled in Baby Signs. He was a big boy and I was worried about his communication ability. No reason I just thought he should have backup if he was speech delayed. I didn’t want it to become a problem so I decided Baby Signs was a good idea. We [...]

It’s triple degrees today so there will no outside time today, which is very disappointing for my son. Maybe some water play after the backyard is in shade!

My 2 year old just started stuttering. Out of no where he stumbles over words…mommy, baby, daddy, good….all are a struggle for him now. Up until this point he had a good vocabulary with a clear speaking voice. Of course as parents, my husband and I want to over-react and have him evaluated. I’ve done [...]

“Ok, it’s time to start getting ready for bed. After your bath, brush your teeth and get your pajamas on. It’s getting late.”
If you have a bedtime routine, pat yourself on the back. Bedtime routines are so vital, especially for young children. Consider adding one more step to your bedtime routine. Give your kids a [...]
